With more people diving with enriched air there is increasing demand for enriched air fills. These fills require individuals qualified to operate a safe gas mixing facility. This is the purpose of the DSAT Gas Blender course.
The DSAT Gas Blender course will train you as a qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified consumers. You'll learn the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary. You will learn the five methods of obtaining the desired enriched air nitrox mix and the various methods used to obtain proper helium mixes. You will have practical training in blending mixes so that at the end of the course you are confident that you can meet the needs of the diver.
