The Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to broaden your awareness, improve your skills and increase your experience in areas that might be new to you.  It will not make you an expert, but will help you to put new skills and knowledge into practice under the safe guidance and supervision of a qualified instructor.

There are five dives to enjoy, and these are completed under the guidance of a PADI Professional Instructor.  The course consists  of two core dives and three elective dives; logistics and weather will determine the order in which they are completed.  The Core Dives are compulsory and include a Deep Dive and a Navigation Dive. The deep dive will take you to depths greater than 18m while the navigation will improve on what you learnt during your Open Water Course.  The three elective dives can normally be selected according to your interests and feasibility.  Your options include Boat, Drift, Night, Multi-level, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, and Wreck dives, to name but a few.

You must be at least 12 years and a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or equivalent) and you will be required to complete a Medical Declaration Form before any training can take place.

We regularly run Advanced Open Water courses and they take place over a weekend.  The price of the course is £219 which includes the crewpack basic scuba diving equipment and certification.  Additional cost will be open water site entry fees or boat fees on our exciting RIB - approximately £30 - £40.
