Boat Diving around The Isle of Wight
If you are looking for fast, convenient, comfortable dive boats then we have them. You can get to some of the best wreck dives in the UK on our fast dive boats. These big RIBs are the best way to dive the area; the reason is the tides. Because of the tides you can often only get one decent dive on each turn of the tide. Slow boats can't get back and out again in time for the second tide so they tend to run 2 tank dives which means you can pay a lot on money (around £45) for 2 dives, the second of which is generally not that brilliant.
We have two dive boats, Rebellion and Renegade.
Rebellion is a fast 7.8m twin engined Cobra RIB. Coded for 10 divers and 2 crew she cuts through the water with ease, cruising at 25 knots. She has a ladder and a tank rank and is extremely stable. She is equipped with all the electronics required to get to to your destination and due to her fuel efficiency will operate with a minimum of 4 divers.
Renegade is a 9.3m Offshore RIB with 400 HP on the back. Capable of 40 knots it is the biggest dive RIB operating in the Solent. Coded for 10 divers and 2 crew she has a big ladder, 2 tank racks and can carry 10 divers and 20 tanks with comfort and speed. Sponsored by Raymarine, she has the very latest electronic gadgets. There are 4 central seat which means that there is plenty of space to move around during transit time. She will operate with a minimum of 6 divers.
Both boats are coded as Cat 3, so they can operate out to 20 miles from a safe haven. And our experienced commercially qualified skippers are also highly experienced divers and diving instructors. During your trip hot drinks and snack are available, infact the only thing we don't have on board is a loo .... but then we get there and back so quickly you can probably manage!
As well as operating in the Solent and around the Isle of Wight, both boats can travel further afield, and we regularly run trips along the South Coast down as far as Portland, so if you have need of fast dive boats elsewhere please give us a call.
