RIB Diving
One of the best ways to dive the Solent is by RIB. Because of the tides you can only get one decent dive on each turn of the tide - the second one tends to have to be a drift- and if you are on a hard boat you end up paying a lot on money for a second dive that is generally not brilliant.
The is one of the reasons that we like to use RIBs - they get you to the dive site quickly you get on with the dive and you are back in time for a drink in the pub - and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.
We use 2 RIBs, O2 and Inspiration. They are both MCA coded with experienced qualified skippers. The dive schedule has a great selection for every level of experience. The good news, is that diving starts at £20 a dive (compared to £45 - £50 for the day on some hard boats). The diving schedule for the season can be found by clicking here.
