Divers Alert Network (DAN)

DAN have produced a number of excellent diver related training programmes all of which can be taught at Triton Scuba.   We think that being able to provide 100% oxygen enriched rescusitation is so important in the event of a diving incident, and we can provide a number of courses that will provide you with the knowledge you need to do this.  The DAN Oxygen provider course is £99 and takes 1/2 a day.  However, we recommend that you undertake the Advanced provider course as well.  If you book onto both courses the combine course fee is only £129.  Short summaries of the courses are listed below.  For additional details click on the images next to the appropriate section:

Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries represents entry-level training to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public to better recognise possible dive-related injuries and to provide emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services and arranging for evacuation.

The Advanced Oxygen Provider course is an Training Program for those individuals who have successfully completed the DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries course within the prevous 12 months. It is designed to train DAN Oxygen Providers to use a positive pressure valve and a Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM).
