DAN have produced a number of excellent diver related training programmes all of which can be taught at Triton Scuba. We think that being able to provide 100% oxygen enriched rescusitation is so important in the event of a diving incident, and we can provide a number of courses that will provide you with the knowledge you need to do this. The DAN Oxygen provider course is £99 and takes 1/2 a day. However, we recommend that you undertake the Advanced provider course as well. Oxygen
First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries represents entry-level training
to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public to better
recognise possible dive-related injuries and to provide emergency oxygen first
aid while activating the local emergency medical services and arranging for
evacuation.
The
Advanced Oxygen Provider course is an Training Program for
those individuals who have successfully completed the DAN Oxygen First Aid
for Scuba Diving Injuries course within the prevous 12 months. It is designed
to train DAN Oxygen Providers to use a positive pressure valve and a Bag-Valve-Mask
(BVM).
Oxygen
First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies represents training designed to
educate the public to recognise possible aquatic related injuries and to provide
emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services
(EMS) and arranging for evacuation.
The
Hazardous Marine Life Injuries course represents entry-level
training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving)
public to identify and avoid hazardous marine life, to recognise possible
injuries caused by hazardous marine life and to provide first aid as appropriate.
The
DAN Automated External Defibrillator course (AED) for Scuba
Diving represents entry level training designed to educate the general diving
(and qualified non-diving) public to better recognise the warning signs of
Sudden Cardiac Arrest and administer first aid and CPR using an AED
