On the social side, the club meets on a regular basis, usually on the first Thursday of each month in the Coast Bar of the Royal Beach hotel, but check with the dive centre to make sure it is on. These meetings are a great opportunity to have a chat and a drink with other club members and find out what is going on and around 50 members turn up on a regular basis. Many bring guests and ‘other halves’ and you are more than welcome to do so. Food is provided but you need to book in for food before the night; details below.
As well as the regular meetings, we also hold several large events each year such as Christmas and Summer Balls. Some of these are amazing. In Spring 2009 we even hired the Spinnaker Tower for the night. Functions are regularly attended by over 100 members and their guests and are subsidized by the club making a great value night out.
