This PADI course is designed to introduce divers to the skills, excitement and fun of using diver propulsion vehicles – and its brilliant fun! During this course, which includes two open water dives, students will cover:
- Equipment considerations including battery care, maintenance and servicing
- The planning and organization of dives using DPVs
- Potential problems and hazards
- Proper procedures for determining turnaround point
- Vehicle failure, runaway motors, descents and ascents
- Techniques to avoid harming fragile aquatic life
- Techniques for entering and exiting the water with a DPV
This one day course costs £149 and this includes manuals, certification, hire of DPVs and boat fees.
