Emergency Oxygen Provider

We all know that Oxygen is essential for life.  It is also really useful when treating injuries and illnesses and diving accidents are no exception.  Oxygen is the primary treatment for diving accidents and in order to administer oxygen safely, PADI have developed the Emergency Oxygen Providers course.  Topics covered during the course include:

  • The theory of oxygen treatment
  • Demand valve oxygen systems
  • Constant flow and non-rebreather systems
  • Bag valve mask techniques
  • Manually triggered ventillators
  • Maintenance and oxygen cleanliness

The course is a supplement to primary care (CPR) training and is conducted over one evening.  The cost of the course is £50 which includes certification.
