In order to qualify as a PADI diving instructor you need to also be certified as a first aid instructor. This is a one day programme that enables you to teach the primary and secondary care and Care for Children EFR programmes. The course also covers teaching of oxygen and Automated External Defibrillators.
During the course candidates will develop role model demonstration skills and will also look at marketing potential for the EFR range of programmes. HSE FAW Instructor training is also available on request. The cost of the course is £250, which does not include materials or registration fees to EFR.
