Once you have become a MSDT then the next natural step is to move on to IDC Staff Instructor. As an IDC Staff you can assit a Course Director in running an IDC and you can also conduct your own AI courses independently. This provides you with the opportunity to offer more programmes to your customers.
During the programme you will be tested in your knowledge and ability as an instructor and will be trained in the mechanics of training IDC candidates. The programme includes auditing a full IDC. The cost of the course is £375 which includes entrance and boat fees, but not registration fees payable to PADI, or CD materials that are required for the course.
