The PADI TecRec Gas Blender course is essential if you want to blend diving gas, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified consumers. You’ll learn the physical properties of oxygen, it’s associated hazards, as well as handling and cleaning requirements. The course will enable you to:
- Blend enriched air within one percent of the target mix
- Follow accepted safety protocols and standards
- Know the advantages and disadvantages of different blending methods
- Expalin the potential hazards related to handling oxygen and how to manage those hazards.
- Explain the steps for oxygen cleaning equipment
- Describe the requirements of oxygen service
You will have practical training in blending mixes so that at the end of the course you are confident that you can meet the gas needs of the diver. The course takes half a day and costs£95. This includes all materials and certification.
