The PADI Equipment Specialist Course is designed to be an introduction to new types of equipment and to familiarize divers with the operation and maintenance of equipment.  It is not an equipment repair course and the training concentrates on the repair  and overhauling of equipment and some minor servicing.  The good thing about this course is that here at Triton Scuba it is conducted by a qualified instructor who is also an ASSET Technician making sure you get the most out of your training.  The following topics are included:

• The theory, principles and operation of diving equipment
• Routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures and equipment storage
• Common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures (including a demonstration of regulator repair procedures)
• Simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new equipment

The course is conducted over 1 day and includes hands-on experience in our workshop and lectures in the classroom.  The price of the course is £99 (Club Members £89) which includes the crewpack, equipment and certification.  To participate on this course you must be a PADI Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Divers or a similar qualification from another training organization.   Minimum age is 10.
