first aid at work

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require an employer to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to enable first aid to be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work.  Not only that, but isn't it sound management policy to look after your staff?  The minimum provision in any work place is a well stocked first aid kit and an appointed person who can take charge of first aid arrangements in the event of an accident or illness.

Triton is an approved First Aid at Work Centre and we can provide this training for you at a reasonable cost.  The First Aid at Work course is an initial training programme in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency patient care. It is a medically based aid course designed to teach students to follow set procedures at lay person's level, to the same emergency aid skills and priorities used by ambulance technicians, paramedics and doctors. The skills of patient care essential to support the life of an ill or injured person are covered in 4 days (6 contact hours per day) in which practical application and hands on practice are emphasised. All skills learned by the students are in the same sequence that would be used when caring for the patient.  The First Aid at Work course, as approved by the Health and Safety Executive, covers primary and secondary care, treatment and management of medical emergencies in the work place.  Training can be conducted at our training centre, or alternatively we can come to you.  Whatever your requirements, we can provide the training.  For more information, contact the centre. or click here to go to First Aid Solutions
