Get Your PADI .... the Open Water Course

The PADI Open Water Course is the entry level course designed for the absolute beginner. It gives you a diving qualification, recognised world-wide, and will be your passport to a lifetime of adventure! The certification is a lifetime award and qualifies you to dive down to 18 metres with someone of the same level. We think our Open Water course is the best around.

Who should take this course?

If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course.

To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

How does it work?

Our PADI Open Water Courses are run over two weekends and a new course starts pretty much every other week. The course is broken down into a number of modules to make learning easy and fun.  We provide you with the latest multi-media packs to help guide you through these sessions, or you prefer you can do this training on-line through our eLearning facility.  The course includes 6 hours of pool training and the emphasis is always on safety and fun.

On the second weekend, with loads of new found skills under your belt we take you open water to finish your training.

What will it cost?

The cost of the course is £475 all inclusive.  Note that we don’t need you to buy your own diving equipment before you come on our course, and there are no hidden extras (with the exception of a small contribution towards fuel if you would like to use our transport to the open water training sites and the site entrance fees).  Oh, and we don’t use dive tables anymore as all of our courses are run using diving computers, so you get an extra manual to cover that.

What next?

If you are looking to take that first step into the water give us a call and book your course now, or alternatively pop into the dive centre – we are open 7 days a week.
