isle of wight and the south coast
The
coast around West Sussex and the Isle of Wight has some great diving and Triton
Scuba is ideally situated if you want to explore it. We have 2 fast dive boats and a regular programme of dives from March through to October. A naval base throughout
history, the waters around Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight are abundant with a large
number of wrecks from both World Wars and before. Everything from wooden
sailing ships to submarines and ocean liners. The depths range from
about 17 metres to 45 metres, but the majortity of the major wrecks can be
found in about 30 - 35 metres. For more information click on the
links on the right to find out about some of the dive sites.
We
have a regular programme of boat dives off the coast and you are more than welcome to join us. As well as weekend diving we are also able to offer
evening dives and full boat charter during the week on either of our big fast dive boats. So if you are a club or dive centre, you can either
join one of our programmed dives or you may want to plan your own dive trip.
The good news is that we can run with a minimum of 4 divers and you spend less time travelling and more time diving. Just give us a call and we will try to accommodate your requirements. Our boats can do pick ups from Old Portsmouth, Gosport, or Hayling Ferry point. For our latest boat schedule click here and don't forget to read out Ts and Cs before you book by clicking here.
If you are going to dive the area it is well worth making a weekend of it and Triton Scuba can support your trip by offering clean and good value accommodation, equipment hire, spares, air and trimix fills. We are the closest dive centre to Eastney Jettty at the entrance to Langstone Harbour and no more than 5 minutes away by car. If you need fills or assistance outside of normal working hours let us know and we can sort it out. For more details about local diving click on the links on the right.
