The August edition of the newsletter is now available online.

New Sidemount Divers and Instructors

The end of July saw us run another very successful Sidemount course at Vobster Quay, with 7 newly qualified divers crossing over to “the dark side”  Even Ginger Phil, a twin set and CCR sceptic had to admit that “he could definitely see the good points.”  Ah go on Phil you know its the way ahead.  5 of the group stayed on for extra training and have now qualified as instructors.  The students came from as far away as Herne Bay in Kent, so clearly the sidemount message is getting out there.

1 July Club Night

The next club night is on 1 July at the Coast Bar, Royal Beach Hotel.  We have ordered some good weather as we are going to be having a BBQ.  Please let us know if you are coming otherwise you won’t get any food!

Tec 40, Sidemount Divers and Open Water

Go Pink!

Princeton Tec have introduced a new colour to their torch range – Pink.  So not only are these torches great value and extremely bright since they have been uprated to push out even more lumens, they also help you get in touch with your “pink side”

Open Water Students

Another sunny weekend and more successul PADI Open Water students.  Well done guys – especially Victoria who had a bit of a sore head on Sunday morning!

Open Water, Advanced and Specialities during a hectic weekend!
