Successful completion of the DSAT Gas Blender course will enable students to:
- Blend enriched air within one percent of the target mix as measured by oxygen content while following accepted safety protocols and standards.
- List the advantages and disadvantages of different blending methods.
- Expalin the potential hazards related to handling oxygen and how to manage those hazards.
- Explain and/or demonstrate the steps for oxygen cleaning equipment such as cylinders, regulators, partial pressure blening systems etc.
- Describe the requirements of oxygen service.
The
DSAT Gas Blender course is run over 1 day. The minimum age is 18 years and you must hold a PADI Enriched Air Diver certification (or equivalent). The cost of the course is £95, which includes the DSAT Gas Blender crew pack.
