The
RYA Level 2 Powerboat course is designed to teach boat handling and seamanship.
It builds on the skills learned in the powerboat level 1 course, however
there is no requirement to undertake level 1 before attending this course.
Normally the level 2 course is conducted in conjunction with the level 1 course.
In addition to the subjects taught on the level 1 course, the followng topics

This is a two day course which emphasises practical "on water" skills using our 7m RIB, Argo. At the end of this training, drivers are able to demonstrate competence in boat handling in a variety of conditions and situations. This is the minimum standard that all boat owners and drivers should aspire to. The cost of the course is £250 and the minimum age is 12, however drivers under 16 years of age will have their certificates endorsed to state they can use boats under the supervision of an adult.
