at Triton Scuba, we do all our own equipment servicing and repairs in our
on-site workshop. Lets face it, when you get your gear serviced it's
good to know that it is being looked after by someone who knows what they
are doing. At Triton Scuba we have ASSET trained Technicians on
the staff, ensuring that there is someone qualified to provide assistance
and advice on equipment maintenance matters seven days a week. ASSET
is the Association of
Scuba Service Engineers and Technicians.
ASSET is dedicated to improving the quality of Scuba equipment maintenance
through technician education. ASSET Technician qualifications indicate
that Technicians have received sound theoretical and practical training. The Advanced qualification is gained after experience and manufacturers courses have been completed.
The certification courses are based upon the requirements of British or European
Standards and Health and Safety law and are considered to be the industry
standard. The ASSET scheme is unequalled anywhere in the diving world and
it is the basic level of competence you should look for when you hand over
your gear for servicing.

In
addition to being ASSET qualified, our servicing technicians have undertaken
just about every manufacturer's approved technicians courses, including Apex,
Scubapro, Oceanic, Northern Diver, Dacor, Aqualung, Sherwood, Seac
Sub, Beuchat, and more. To be honest, there is not much that we can't do and with
our years of experience behind us you can rest assured that your equipment
is in good hands.
It is worth pointing out, that we do not cut corners when it comes to servicing. We only use manufacturers approved service kits and always replace every part recommended by the manufacturer. This may not make our servicing charges the cheapest around, but at least it gives you the peace of mind that your equipment is being maintained correctly. All of our servicing work is covered by a 3 month warranty.
Servicing can be done overnight if really necessary, however, we generally ask that you allow us ten working days to sort it out. The chances are that it will be done quicker than that so if you are on a schedule let us know and we will do what we can.
