Thinking of Taking the Plunge?
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but are not quite ready to take the plunge into a full certification course? Scuba diving literally takes you to a whole new world, so why not come and explore where it can take you by joining one of our Try Dive sessions. These three hour training programmes allow you to try scuba diving and find out whether or not you want to dive deeper into this new world. This is not just a ‘taster’ session but a proper structured course. The cost of the course is £65.00 which includes everything you need, apart from your swimming kit.
To sign up for our Try Dive session you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.
What will you learn?
You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of one of our staff who will be a fully qualified PADI Professional. Get ready to:
- Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.
- Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater.
- Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive.
- Have fun swimming around and exploring.
- Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course.
How can you start learning now?
Contact us by email or telephone to sign up for a Discover Scuba Diving program. You will learn skill techniques your dive professional will review with you. You’ll also learn about opportunities to become part of the scuba community after you complete your underwater experience.
What scuba gear will you use?
You will use all the basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, dive gauges and a cylinder. Everything is provided. All you need to bring along is a swimming costume and a towel.
