Garry Donaldson, PADI Staff Intructor

I was always fascinated by the undersea world and growing up in the Channel Islands gave me ample time to explore it as an avid snorkeler. When the opportunity to learn to dive came along I jumped at the chance. Now with 25 years experience behind me, I still love it as much now as I did back then, and as an added bonus I now have the opportunity to teach scuba diving while continuing and challenging myself to learn more about it day by day.

As part of the challenge I have recently achieved Staff Instructor status which will enable me to pass on my skills and knowledge to the next generation of professional divers.

Martin Lewry, PADI Staff Instructor

Having dived for a number of years, Martin finally took the plunge and qualified as a Divemaster in 2012. Since then, he has gone on to achieve instructor status, becoming one of the few who are qualified to teach the PADI Scientific Diving Techniques and Film & Media Diver courses.

He is extremely knowledgeable about many aspects of diving, including the history behind many popular dive sites both in the UK and abroad.

Martin has also recently attained Staff Instructor status.

Mark Etheridge, PADI MSDT

Mark came to Triton Scuba as part of his University course, much like many of our current students do.

Since then he has gone on to become an integral part of the business, and undertakes the majority of servicing of dive kit for customers.

An instructor for a number of years, he has an in depth knowledge of dive theory and is also one of the few who are qualified to teach the PADI Scientific Diving Techniques and Film & Media Diver courses.

Victoria Spencer, PADI OWSI

I was always a bit of a water baby but didn’t discover scuba diving until 2008. What started with a try dive quickly became an all encompassing hobby, resulting in me qualifying as a Divemaster in 2012 and Instructor in 2023.

Having dived all over the world, including Belize, Mexico, and the Philippines, I still think the UK has some of the most enjoyable dive sites. From the seals at Lundy, to the fantastic wrecks of Portland and Plymouth, and everything in between.
